The fishery rules are common rules which are in place for your enjoymnet and safety and protection of the fish.

Arrival & Departure
Please, do not arrive before 1pm on the day of arrival.
Departure no later than 10am.
No visitors allowed on site except those included in your booking and bookings are not transferable to other people.
Fishing Rules
- No retaining os fish, unless concern for health is suspected. In this case please, see owners advice ASAP.
- No nuts, pellets or particles of any kind can be bought onto site, only particles/pellets prepared and sold by us may be used.
- No shelf life boilies
- No smoking in accomodation
- Three rod maximum per angler
- Barbless hooks only
- Min 15lb breaking strain line
- No braided main lines (ecpect for marker/spod use)
- No fires or loud radios
- No rods to be left unattanded (not even with radio receivers)
- Maximum size 4 hooks
- The use if Klinick or similar must be used on hook holes and wounds
- Unhooking mats, weight slings and landing nets supplied by the fishery
Please, note that the lead angler who makes the booking is responsible for all members of their group for the entire time that they are on site.
It is essentioal that every angler is made fully aware of the fishery rules and what is expected of them.
We operate a zero tolerance policy and the owners will ask anyone found breaking these rules to leave the fishery immediately without refund.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. YOUR CONTRACT
Your contract is with us. When making your booking, the person paying the deposit for the booking (the “Party Leader’’) confirms that they have the authority to do so on behalf of all the other people covered by the booking. By paying the deposit, you are deemed to have read, understood, agreed to and accepted Our Terms and Conditions. A contract exists as soon as you pay the booking deposit.
Your booking can not be assigned to another person without prior consent.
2. YOUR DEPOSIT
Your deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is accepted as part payment towards the total cost of the booking. Once the deposit has been received, the cost of your fishing will not be subject to any change.
N.B. The cost of the bait and food package can be changed without prior notice but will only be done if the cost to us for providing these rises significantly.
3. YOUR BOOKING PRICE
The balance of the cost of your booking must be paid no later than 6 weeks before your arrival date. If you book within 6 weeks of departure you must pay the total cost of your holiday at the time of booking. If the balance is not paid in time, we may cancel your arrangements and retain your deposit.
4. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR BOOKING
You may cancel your arrangements at any time. Written notification of cancellation from the Party Leader must be received on our email. Cancellation will be effective on the date it is received by us and the following cancellation charges will apply;
6 weeks or more before the booking – Deposit Only
Less than 6 weeks before the booking – 100% of the total cost
5. INSURANCE
Clients are advised to take out the required Travel/Holiday Insurance to cover Cancellation, Travel & Medical Insurance, Personal Belongings, Public Liability etc. Hideaway lake does not accept liability for any damage, loss or injury resulting from failure to provide yourselves with sufficient cover.
6. PASSPORTS
It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your group hold valid passports, visa and health certificates for travel within the European Community. We accept no responsibility for any delay or expense incurred through any irregularity in your documents.
7. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for any loss, delay or cancellations due to the following:
fire, storm, flood, closure of ports, weather conditions, acts of god, strikes, riots, political unrest, industrial disputes, war or any other event or circumstances beyond our control.
8. LIABILITY
Under no circumstances shall our liability to you exceed the amount paid to us for your trip.
9. FISHERY RULES
All persons agree to abide by the Fishery Rules.
10. PERSONAL RISK
Fishing is carried out entirely at your own risk and the owners accept no responsibility for any accidents or damage that might occur on our property while fishing or otherwise.
11. TERMINATION
You must accept responsibility for the proper conduct of yourself and any members of your party. We reserve the right to immediately terminate the services we are contractually obliged to provide if we, our employees or agents consider your behaviour likely to cause unacceptable annoyance or harm to another persons (s) or damage to fish or property. We will not be laible to you for any refund or compensation or any costs or damage which you may incur.
12. CHILDREN
Children under the age of 12 are not allowed unless prior consent has been given by us in writing. All children fishing or by the lake who are under 16 years of age, must be supervised by an adult at all times.
